Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Master

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a Japanese manga created by Kazuki Takahashi, which has spawned a franchise including multiple anime series, a trading card game, and numerous video games. Most of the incarnations of the franchise involve the card game called Duel Monsters (originally known as Magic & Wizards), wherein each player uses cards in order to defeat one another.

Keep It Steady

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME there are two basic rules for building a powerful and stable Deck. First, play as close to the 40-card minimum as you can. This will increase your chances of drawing your best cards at the right times. Second, try to keep an even balance between the number of Monster Cards and the number of Spell and Trap Cards in your Deck. Monsters are your tool for attacking your opponent’s Life Points and defending your own, so Monster Cards should make up about half of your Deck. In The Dark Emperor, there are 21 Monster Cards in the 40-card Deck, but only one of them must be Tribute Summoned. By following these two basic rules, the Deck gains the staying power necessary to survive tough Duels.
